2024 Solar Leases Warrant Article

HMLP’s Light Board has voted to submit a draft warrant article to the Select Board for inclusion in the 2024 Annual Town Meeting warrant. The original draft article can be found here.

This article will be reviewed by the Select Board and Advisory Board in advance of Town Meeting, and any comments or changes may be incorporated. The article authorizes the Select Board to grant leases to HMLP or third parties to install Distributed Energy Resources (DER) on Town properties. This article would not authorize the Town to bypass any permitting or other requirements associated with the DER selection and development process.
