Hingham Light is hosting a virtual solar tour as a part of the National Solar Tour and South Shore Solar Tour! From October to January, you can view photos of HMLP’s large rooftop solar array and battery system online! Photos will be uploaded here shortly.

The first public meeting of the Climate Action Planning Committee to discuss Hingham’s Climate Action Plan is on June 15, 2022, at 7:00 PM. All residents of Hingham are invited to come to this meeting and share their input with the committee. Make your voice heard in the climate action plan!

The first community meeting for the Hingham Electrical Infrastructure Reliability Project was held on October 18, 2021 at 7:00 PM via Zoom. This is an ongoing project being led by HMLP to construct and operate a new transmission line and substation in Hingham to address critical reliability needs and support the Town’s climate change initiatives.
