Hingham Light and Weir River Launch Exciting Transition to Local, Customer-Centric Utility Management
HMLP and WRWS are proud to launch a partnership that will enhance your utility service experience. As of July 1, 2026, HMLP has taken over customer service, billing and payment processing for all WRWS customers, streamlining services and ensuring a seamless transition for the community.
Water Billing Service Transition Notice
Beginning July 1, 2026, HMLP will assume responsibility for water billing and payment processing for all Weir River Water System customers. This transition affects billing and payment services only. Your water service will not be interrupted.

2025 Customer Survey Results
In 2025, HMLP participated in a statewide Residential Customer Satisfaction Survey with GreatBlue Research to understand customer opinions on various topics, including rates, quality of service, renewable energy investments, energy efficiency programs, and rebates.
Update Your AutoPay Payment Method
