Thanks to collaboration between HMLP and the Hingham DPW, the long-overdue Station Street lighting upgrade is now complete!💡🙌

The DPW did an outstanding job excavating the site, installing the new light pole foundations, and assisting with transporting equipment to and from HMLP. ...HMLP purchased all of the new light pole bases, and our Line Department worked quickly to install the new lighting, add wiring, and upgrade portions of the existing electrical infrastructure.

Special recognition goes to DPW Superintendent Ashley Broyer and Highway Supervisor Nick Trinchera for their leadership and support throughout the project. Ashley was instrumental in identifying funding to replace lighting infrastructure that had been in need of repair for more than 20 years, while Nick played a key role in coordinating and assisting with the work. Their efforts and teamwork were critical in making this project a success.

The new lighting significantly improves visibility and safety in the Station Street parking lot and is a great example of what can be accomplished when Town departments work together toward a common goal.

Thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication to improving our community.
