SSCC Open House
Join the SSCC on April 29th from 10 AM to 2 PM for an open house event that will include public tours of the facility, information about sustainability and energy-efficiency, free LEDs from HMLP, and free on-sight EV charging sponsored by Hingham Net Zero!
2023 RodE&O Conference & Expo
The rodeo is designed to enhance skills and job knowledge, foster stronger working relationships, encourage teamwork, and provide a better understanding of utility work for families and other attendees. The event is scheduled to take place from May 9, 2023 at 7:30 am – May 11, 2023 at 11:15 am EDT.

HEIRP Community Open House
On October 12, 2022 from 7 PM to 9 PM, HMLP is holding a community-wide, virtual open house on Zoom to seek feedback from residents and businesses in Hingham and Weymouth about the planned Hingham Electrical Infrastructure Reliability Project (HEIRP).
Hingham Light’s Virtual Solar Tour
Hingham Light is hosting a virtual solar tour as a part of the National Solar Tour and South Shore Solar Tour! From October to January, you can view photos of HMLP’s large rooftop solar array and battery system online!
Climate Action Plan Public Meeting
The first public meeting of the Climate Action Planning Committee to discuss Hingham’s Climate Action Plan is on June 15, 2022, at 7:00 PM. All residents of Hingham are invited to come to this meeting and share their input with the committee. Make your voice heard in the climate action plan!
4th Annual Food Drive
Please join Hingham Light in supporting the Hingham Food Pantry this holiday season! Hingham Light is sponsoring its 4th annual food drive. Between November 30th-December 7th, 8 AM -2:30 PM, please bring non-perishable, unopened items to our office at 31 Bare Cove Park Drive.
Celebrating 100 Years with SSCC

Cleaner Greener Hingham Day 2022
Join Cleaner Greener Hingham for a town-wide clean-up day on Saturday, April 23rd! These cleanups result in keeping rubbish out of the Town’s aquifer, waterways, and harbor while keeping Hingham beautiful. Sign-up for a clean-up spot now!
